The Role

As a Market Research Apprentice, you will support Yonder expert Researchers on client projects by providing data delivery, reporting, and analysis. You will gain a full understanding of your role in the project lifecycle.


You will be given opportunities to develop the core skills needed to be a successful researcher, including practitioner and technical skills, as well as soft skills like communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the team on quantitative and qualitative market research projects
  • Conducting background and desk research on clients to support proposals and marketing activities
  • Attending regular collaboration sessions with your team and clients
  • Assisting in the design of quantitative and qualitative research studies
  • Testing online surveys
  • Assisting in organising and analysing large datasets
  • Quality checking data
  • Assisting in the set-up and onboarding of in-person or virtual qualitative fieldwork (e.g. interviews or focus groups)
  • Attending in-person or virtual fieldwork, and note-taking, with the potential to moderate qualitative interviews depending on availability
  • Charting research findings / populating PowerPoint reports
  • Planning, prioritising and communicating effectively to ensure deliverables are met to deadlines
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Interview Process

Our partner, Swarm, will be managing the recruitment for this role. If you're successful through the application stage, the recruitment process will be as follows:



  1. Logical and numerical testing (which you must pass to progress).
  2. First stage - Virtual interview with the team
  3. Second stage - face-to-face interview with the team and a task to complete



Working week

Core working hours are 37.5 hours from 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. It is required to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The rest of the week, you have the opportunity to work from home. 20% (one day) of your week will be time-out for self-study with regular tutor support working towards the Level 4 Market Research qualification.
