Job Description SummaryThe MarCom Director International will be responsible for leading the MarCom & Events team at GE HealthCare International during an 7-month maternity leave. GE HealthCare International includes the regions Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, India and Latin America. This role involves not only developing and implementing the current marketing content & campaign strategies but also transforming the team towards a new operational model that emphasizes streamlined content creation, approval, and distribution processes. The successful candidate will ensure the team produces high-quality, engaging, and consistent content efficiently, leveraging advanced tools and technologies.
This position requires a seasoned professional with strong, empathic leadership and influencing skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive multi-dimensional projects. The MarCom Leader will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) International.
THIS ROLE IS OPEN IN ALL LOCATIONS IN THE INTERNATIONAL REGION EVEN IF NOT INCLUDED IN THE ROLE POSTING LOCATION. NO RELOCATION REQUIRED.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and manage the MarCom & Events team (~25 people), ensuring alignment with GE HealthCare's strategic goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring professional growth and development.

Content Development and Management

  • Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging, relevant, and personalized content and other marketing materials.
  • Optimize content for various platforms, including web, digital campaigns, and sales enablement tools.
  • Lead the implementation of the content sharing strategy for channel partners across the International region. 

Transformation to New Operational Model

  • Implement a new operational model focused on efficient content production and distribution.
  • Streamline content creation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
  • Leverage advanced tools and technologies to produce high-quality content at scale.
  • Ensure all content adheres to ethical standards, maintains brand integrity, and complies with industry regulations.
  • Set up min. quarterly editorial content boards gathering central modality and zone Marcom content owners to share on content needs and plans.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with global, Segment and Zone marketing teams as well as the Central Digital marketing & operations Team to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support marketing initiatives.Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve marketing goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Team Development: Assess team performance and development through regular feedback and performance reviews.
  • Budget Management: Ensure marketing activities are executed within the allocated budget and track cost efficiency.
  • Content Quality and Engagement: Track metrics such as content views, shares, and engagement rates to ensure high-quality and engaging content.
  • Content Production Efficiency: Measure the fit of the content created with the needs to the stakeholders and  the time taken from content creation to distribution and aim to reduce this time by a specified percentage.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the MedTech or healthcare industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
  • Proficiency in using advanced marketing tools and technologies.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create complex business cases.
  • Ability to influence and motivate teams and stakeholders.
