Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer - Submarines
Working location: Raynesway, Derby
Grade: 7-10
We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join the Core Manufacturing team at Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby.
You will be working with a joint functional team in a busy operational environment ensuring that manufacturing Compliance and Quality is maintained and continually improved. You will be responsible for the governance of Quality data and Systems, linking in with the Production Team, Manufacturing Engineering and Support functions.

What you will be doing:
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring Operational compliance within the Manufacturing environment.
- Ownership and management of Quality Metrics and Governance.
- Management of Non-Conformance, including Root Cause Investigations.
- Delivering the Quality Framework and direction within the joint manufacturing team.
- Influencing Quality change and culture within the manufacturing environment.
- Conducting audits and managing findings.

- Previous experience with a Manufacturing environment holding a Quality or Improvement role.
- Good base knowledge of Quality Systems and frameworks.
- Problem Solving methodology knowledge.
- Working within in team-based system and ability to communicate with people at all levels and in all departments.
- Experience in using SAP, MS Excel and Word would be an advantage.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
