Your day at NTT DATA
The Managing Director, Infrastructure Solutions is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing all operations and driving strategic implementation in a division.
The Managing Director, Infrastructure Solutions is responsible for establishing and achieving strategic objectives, plans, and budgets, working closely with executive leadership in providing input into the strategic direction, guidance, and divisional policies that are aligned to the overall strategic objectives while fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on strategic and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for management of a team of functional managers responsible for achieving financial and operational goals and objectives.
  • Plans, drives and ensures flawless execution of initiatives, activities, and programs within the business unit.
  • Oversees the coordination of the overall divisional strategy and activities through the relevant functions and supporting business development for revenue generation.
  • Contributes in a continuous and significant way to corporate decision-making and the development of corporate strategies and plans.
  • Ensures the whole business unit flexibly reacts and is aligned to current business drivers, organizational initiatives, and regional programs.
  • Analyzes business-critical unit operations priorities and ensures the implementation of plans that will lead to business continuity and continuous service improvement.
  • Oversees costing and budgeting of divisional operations, SLAs, and efficiency improvement.
  • Responsibility for technology transformation of projects as they related to the specific division.
  • Through assessment of intangible variables, identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for the division and promotion of new ideas.
  • Provides input into policies and negotiates critical matters with internal and external stakeholders.
  • May work with senior leaders in sales to develop new approaches to sales modelling, forecasting, and quoting and supports market due diligence for existing and new markets.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Strategic leader with creative and financial acumen coupled with strong business intellect necessary for taking the business unit to the next level.
  • Displays a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Demonstrates business acumen, finance expertise, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to interface and maintain effective working relationships with all departments.
  • Relationship building and communication skills, together with a structured, organized approach.
  • Rigorous follow up combined with a flexible approach and recognition of the ever-changing environment.
  • Organizational and political agility with the ability to influence and negotiate to successful outcomes.
  • Data or metrics are driven by the ability to create a culture of accountability.
  • Unwavering unshakeable integrity, ethics, and trust.

Academic qualifications and certification:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business-related field or equivalent.

Required experience:

  • Substantial experience within the field in which the company operates.
  • Substantial experience in the practices, policies, and procedures of their chosen field.
  • Substantial experience working in a related division within a corporate environment, Data Centers, etc.
  • Substantial experience leading a division and managing a team of senior managers in the execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Previous business unit and/or divisional management experience in a similar environment/industry.
  • Substantial experienced leader with excellent people skills and work ethic.
  • Substantial experience in strategic planning and business development.
  • Substantial experience with successfully managing complex
