Job Description:

Dentsu is an integrated growth and transformation partner to the world’s leading organizations. Founded in 1901 in Tokyo, Japan, and now present in over 145 countries and regions, it has a proven track record of nurturing and developing innovations, combining the talents of its global network of leadership brands to develop impactful and integrated growth solutions for clients. Dentsu delivers end-to-end experience transformation (EX) by integrating its services across Media, CXM and Creative, while its business transformation (BX) mindset pushes the boundaries of transformation and sustainable growth for brands, people and society.

Purpose of the Role

This is a pivotal executive leadership role within Amplifi UK, accountable for shaping, scaling, and commercialising the Growth Solutions agenda across the UK&I. The MD will define the strategic direction for a suite of high value solutions that strengthen dentsu’s market advantage and fuel sustainable, diversified revenue growth.

The role spans end to end ownership of solution vision, productisation, go-to-market strategy and adoption across all dentsu agencies. It requires a leader with the credibility, foresight and operational discipline to unify cross functional teams, influence senior stakeholders and consistently raise the bar on innovation and performance.

As a key member of the Amplifi Executive Leadership Team, the MD will be instrumental in shaping the organisation’s long-term trajectory, culture and operating model—ensuring Growth Solutions becomes a recognised engine of both client impact and commercial value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Leadership: Serve as a senior figure within the Amplifi UK Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategic agenda and organisational health. Act as a high impact ambassador for dentsu, representing the breadth of our capabilities and forging strong internal alignment across a complex matrix environment.

  • Growth Solutions Strategy & Vision: Set the strategic ambition for Growth Solutions in the UK and lead the execution of a multi-year roadmap that advances dentsu’s competitive position. Establish a clear, commercially grounded vision for solution adoption, backed by robust performance targets and the structures required to scale successfully. Develop a coherent plan that marries client success, product performance, and measurement excellence to fuel iteration, case studies, and commercial acceleration.

  • Proposition & Solution Development: Lead the development and scaling of proprietary media solutions that differentiate dentsu in the market. Transform capabilities into compelling, repeatable, and commercially viable products that agencies can adopt seamlessly. Work in lockstep with Data & Technology, Media Effectiveness, and the Global Amplifi network to harmonise priorities, embed automation and AI, and ensure measurement remains integral to solution performance. Make strategic decisions on in-house build versus external partnership to optimise speed, quality, and margin.

  • Sales, Adoption & Scaling: Design and governance of a clear sales enablement strategy that uplifts capability across client facing teams and drives consistent adoption. Champion best practices across regions and anchor the model in global learnings. Partner closely with senior stakeholders—including the Chief Investment Officer, Chief Media Officer, and Media SLT—to deliver a unified and scalable commercial approach. Ensure legal rigour in opt-in models and steward clear timelines, billings expectations, and income forecasts.

  • Business Growth & Commercial Performance: Hold full accountability for Growth Solutions’ commercial performance, including revenue, income, and margin growth. Drive organic expansion through senior level client relationships, strategic consulting, and close collaboration with agency leadership and GTM brand presidents. Act as a senior strategic lead on tier-1 pitches, ensuring the solutions narrative elevates dentsu’s competitive positioning and win rate.

  • Operational Excellence: Own the operating model required to scale Growth Solutions with consistency, efficiency, and commercial discipline. Identify opportunities to reduce cost to serve through automation, streamlined processes, and intelligent resource design. Work collaboratively with the Amplifi partnership team to maintain strong governance, compliance, and commercial rigour across all partner relationships.

  • Values, Culture & Leadership: Model the behaviours expected of a senior dentsu leader—visible, credible, inclusive, and committed to excellence. Champion dentsu’s culture, inclusion priorities, and social impact commitments while fostering a high-performance environment that attracts, retains, and grows exceptional talent.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Extensive experience across Solutions, Performance, Addressable Media or related environments.

  • Proven leadership of high growth, commercially successful capabilities.

  • Demonstrated success taking propositions to market and scaling adoption.

  • Deep relationships across platforms, marketplaces, and digital supply partners.

  • Significant experience leading tier-1 pitches and delivering revenue growth.

  • Executive level experience with C-suite clients and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong grounding in data, measurement, and closed loop performance.

What we offer

  • This is a Permanent role.
