Manager, Total Rewards
Overview:
Mastercard's Total Rewards team is seeking a Manager, Total Rewards, to join our team and support our pay transparency initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for translating compensation insights into actionable strategies by partnering directly with cross-functional teams and business leaders. You will help ensure our pay transparency efforts are aligned with business expectations globally, while also supporting other high-impact and strategic total rewards initiatives.
The successful candidate will proactively identify pay transparency needs for our organization-both current and forward-looking-and collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to address related matters, ensuring that analytical outputs are understood, validated, and effectively applied across the business.
Role:
- Partner with cross-functional teams and businesses to support global pay equity and transparency strategies
- Translate analytical findings into business-relevant insights and recommendations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between data analysis and business expectations
- Monitor and interpret trends in pay data, including equity and fairness across the organization
- Ensure compliance with pay transparency regulations and serve as a subject matter expert on the evolving global pay equity landscape, including the EU Directive
- Continuously track global changes in pay equity and reporting requirements
- Support compensation planning and budget cycles
- Help solve some of the most challenging and impactful problems facing the Total Rewards team and organization
All about You/Experience:
- Knowledge of compensation practices, market trends, and the ability to formulate analysis and proposals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a track record of solving complex problems
- Creative, innovative team player with a sense of urgency, strong attention to detail, enthusiasm, passion for learning and going above and beyond base expectations
- Ability to work independently and organize and prioritize projects in a matrixed environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to create presentations and narrative
