The Role

At Bristol Myers Squibb, we are seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Customer Operations to lead a team responsible for delivering seamless supply chain execution across our External Manufacturing network.

This role serves as a critical link between manufacturing partners, internal stakeholders, logistics providers and global markets, ensuring products are supplied efficiently, compliantly and in line with customer expectations.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, support strategic supply chain initiatives and build strong partnerships across a complex global network.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Supply Chain Operations

Manage and develop a team responsible for customer operations activities across the external manufacturing network.

Ensure timely execution of order fulfilment, shipment coordination, invoicing and supply chain transactions.

Monitor operational performance, drive issue resolution and ensure service level commitments are achieved.

Support month-end activities, inventory management and financial compliance requirements.

Partner Across the Supply Chain

Act as the primary point of coordination between manufacturing sites, logistics providers, commercial markets and internal functions.

Support product launches, product transfers, redeployments, allocations and other strategic supply initiatives.

Ensure compliance with supply chain processes, quality standards and business controls.

Drive Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and service performance.

Support system enhancements, process standardisation and supply chain transformation initiatives.

Leverage performance metrics to drive improvements and informed decision making.

Develop Talent

Coach, mentor and develop team members to achieve operational excellence and career growth.

Lead performance management, succession planning and capability development activities.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in supply chain operations, customer operations or logistics within a multinational environment.
  • Proven people leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across operations, quality, finance, procurement and commercial functions.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of GDP requirements and regulated supply chain environments.
  • Experience supporting external manufacturing or contract manufacturing networks

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
