Job Overview

Brookfield is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Designer to join its growing in-house creative team. Under the direction of the Design Director, this candidate will own the creation and evolution of various Brookfield brand-aligned touchpoints from concept to execution. This includes a mixed range of marketing and integrated materials, in-person experiences, and visual communications.

Our team strives for high quality output—successful candidates have shown that attention to detail and a strong self-organization practice provide the ability to work on multiple projects at a time, and ensure edits and updates are timely and accurate. This individual must be detail-oriented and comfortable with working across different project stakeholders and timelines. This individual should possess a collaborative mindset as they will work hand-in-hand with marketers, writers, and cross-functional team members across Brookfield.

In this Role you will:

  • Build upon brand guidelines to design and produce consistent brand-aligned materials across all touchpoints
  • Collaborate with global design team to deliver high-quality materials in a timely manner
  • Bring fresh and creative ideas to communicate content effectively
  • Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
  • Be a brand ambassador and provide governance as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of firmwide marketing touchpoints that support business priorities as well as client acquisition/retention strategies.
  • Develop day-to-day creative solutions across all mediums: Marketing collateral; Digital assets; Environmental design; Presentations; Invitations; Ads; etc.
  • Be an active member of a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and a results-driven mindset.
  • Manage time efficiently and communicate effectively
  • Proactively provide quality assurance across every project

Qualifications

  • A design degree with 7-10+ years of professional experience within a corporate environment
  • Expertise in creating concepts, designs, and specifications for platforms including print, web, email, social, and environments
  • Working and collaborating with executives and presenting design ideas effectively
  • Deep knowledge of current design trends and best practices with a focus on usability and the customer
  • Excellent time management skills with a strong and professional work ethic
  • Detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, etc.)
  • Proficient in Figma
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook  
  • Ability to proofread and review work for accuracy and consistency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience with cross-functional teams and working within complex, global organizations.
  • Intellectually curious and willing to learn about businesses across a variety of industries
  • Agile and adaptable to changing business environments and evolving market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial industry work experience a plus
