Job Responsibilities:
Aim of the job:
Project management in the area of advanced development for new technologies, processes, and components at Magna Exteriors. This includes complete planning, budget control and responsibility, as well as conducting feasibility analyses, evaluations, and interpretation of results and requirements for planning the series implementation in the later production plant
Main areas of responsibility:

• Project management for pre-development in the area of product and process development within PPD Europe
• Technology testing and transfer of new processes from pre-development into series production processes at the respective plants. Support for the series introduction of new processes and technologies in Magna Exteriors plants according to Phase 3 of the Magna Exteriors IDP process.
• Supervision, planning, and development of new tools, machines, and technologies to validate and implement new processes according to Magna Exteriors specifications.
• Execution, planning, and coordination of pre-development projects, material testing, and evaluation, as well as conducting validation trials with OEMs according to Magna Exteriors process guidelines.
• Execution and analysis of internal and external material and process trials.
• Development of new material concepts and processes ideas for the automotive exterior sector.
• Transfer of new technologies and design guidelines into series development.
• Documentation and preparation of calculation bases for later series introduction and customer quotations as well as support business case analysis in an early phase.

Main competences:

• Strong knowledge in project planning and MS Office, combined with excellent organizational skills
• Structured, independent working style and good understanding of technical interrelationships
• Experience in project management of VE projects and concept development is desirable as well as backround in project management automotive
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
• High willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Experience in thermoplastic processing and special procedures, as well as know-how in processing thermoplastic and thermoset composites, is advantageous
