We do this by being consumer centric and data driven.
Authorization Optimizer was successfully launched at the end of 2021 as a global network enhancement Solution Optimization is commercializing Mastercard Authorization Optimizer. Mastercard Authorization Optimizer provides intelligence to eCommerce merchants on how and when to retry a declined transaction. Auth Optimizer won the Consumer Solutions award for New Product of the Year. In 2026, the team's focus is to drive acquirer/merchant adoption of the solution.
Role:
An ideal candidate is passionate about learning new products and solutions, has a strong understanding of the drivers of digital commerce, leverages data insights to recommend actions and drive decisions, has strong storytelling skills and can liaise with key stakeholders-internally and externally-to commercialize, and scale solutions.
The Manager will own and support the commercialization of products and solutions partnering across the organization and engaging with our global customers. The individual will analyze and track the customer adoption and performance of Authorization Optimizer across all regions. This includes gathering data-driven insights and engaging directly with key stakeholders to understand barriers and deliver recommendations.
Key responsibilities: • Develop regional go-to-market strategies and lead execution to ensure maximum penetration of product and value delivered to customers. This includes aligning with regional and market level teams and supporting customer facing teams with go-to-market plans, material, pricing, and training• Create quantitative analysis, ad-hoc reports, and models to identify trends related to digital commerce transactions globally and support the adoption of products and solutions• Leverage data and market insights to create recommendations that will drive penetration, adoption, and development of new and existing strategic solutions• Create and maintain material in support of new and existing strategic solutions: business cases, market needs, product roadmaps, customer feedback, success metrics, marketing and sales material, guides, etc.• Lead development of internal presentations, external thought leadership, training, and sales materials• Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence various teams at the global and local level; key stakeholders include Finance, Market Development, Account Management, Customer Experience, Marketing, and C&I

The candidate should demonstrate:• Passion for all things digital and intrinsic curiosity to understand new technology• Foundational background in product management or business development and experience with bringing products to market• Relationship management expertise and a customer centric mindset; ability to lead and drive customer meetings. Can build and nurture meaningful relationships at all levels including with senior-level executives. • Strong analytical skills with track record of translating data to derive market assessments and draw compelling insights• Excellent communication & influencing skills to work with internal and external stakeholders; ability to articulate problem statements, opportunity areas, and complex data models • Excellent project management and execution skills, with strong problem solving, highly analytical, quantitative communication and organizational skills.
