Manager, Product Management, Access Pass
1. Overview
The role owns the end-to-end product management of Mastercard's global Access Pass product across the EEMEA region. The Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing the regional product strategy, ensuring effective localization, enabling issuer adoption, driving go-to-market execution, and scaling usage in close collaboration with global and local stakeholders.
2. Role
Product Strategy & Roadmap• Define and own the EEMEA product strategy and roadmap for Access Pass• Balance global product vision with local market needs, including regulatory, commercial, and customer requirements• Lead product prioritization based on market impact, scalability, and commercial value• Drive decisions on product scope, feature set, pricing, and positioning
Localization & Market Fit• Adapt Access Pass to local market conditions across EEMEA, including regulation, issuer expectations, and consumer behavior• Define country-specific or cluster-based product variants where required• Develop a modular product framework that enables efficient regional customization without fragmentation
Issuer & Stakeholder Management• Develop a clear and compelling value proposition and product narrative for issuer banks• Represent the product in issuer meetings, workshops, and executive discussions• Collect, structure, and prioritize issuer feedback to inform product enhancements• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including Global Product, Sales, CSC, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing
Go-to-Market & Scaling• Design and execute the EEMEA go-to-market strategy for Access Pass• Manage pilots, launches, and scale-up phases across priority markets• Drive issuer activation, usage, and penetration through structured rollout plans• Identify successful use cases and build replicable playbooks for regional expansion
Performance Management & Analytics• Define and track product KPIs, including adoption, active usage, revenue contribution, and churn• Monitor performance and proactively address gaps through data-driven actions• Assess product profitability and long-term value creation• Provide concise, action-oriented reporting to senior leadership
3. All About You
Experience & Knowledge• 7-10+ years of experience in product management, payments, cards, digital services, or fintech• Proven track record in product launches and scaling across multiple markets• Strong experience working with issuer banks and complex stakeholder environments• Experience in multi-country or regional roles, preferably within EEMEA
Skills & Competencies• Strong product mindset combined with commercial acumen• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives• Highly analytical, structured, and outcome-oriented approach• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
