THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Last Mile Logistics Manager to join our Supply Chain team in EMEA. Reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain EMEA, this role will play a key part in shaping and executing AG1's last-mile strategy. As a leader in e-commerce, AG1 aims to partner with best-in-class last-mile providers and implement innovative solutions that enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

This position requires hands-on experience working directly with last-mile suppliers and a proven ability to influence strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering a seamless last-mile experience and possess a deep understanding of the complexities of logistics in an e-commerce environment.

*This is a remote role and requires 20-30% travel with the EU. Preferred candidate location: UK, Netherlands, Spain*

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and Execute Last-Mile Strategy: Shape the last-mile logistics strategy for EMEA, ensuring alignment with AG1’s overall supply chain goals and customer-first approach.
  • Manage Last-Mile Partners: Establish and maintain strong relationships with last-mile service providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and continuously improving delivery performance.
  • Optimize Operations: Analyze delivery data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to reduce transit times, enhance on-time delivery rates, and improve cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams (Customer Happiness, Fulfillment, Tech) to ensure seamless execution of last-mile operations and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Drive Innovation: Lead initiatives to introduce new delivery methods, technologies, and sustainability practices within the last-mile space.
  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including delivery accuracy, customer feedback, and cost performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead Tactical and Strategic Reviews: Conduct regular operational and strategic reviews with last-mile suppliers to assess performance and foster collaboration on improvement opportunities.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience: 5+ years in last-mile logistics management within an e-commerce or consumer goods environment, with direct experience managing last-mile suppliers.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to influence logistics strategies and drive impactful changes that align with business goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret delivery data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and cultures.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics management tools and platforms; experience with 3PL and carrier integrations is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is €54,900.00 - €76,500.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
