We are passionate about making sure the Spotify brand that consumers and creators love is felt just as strongly inside our walls. This means crafting innovative communications, thinking beyond the obvious, and partnering with bandmates at every level and across every part of the business.

You will join a small, collaborative team that works across the company to deliver clear, engaging, and relevant communication. You will bring strong writing skills, a self-starting approach, and the ability to build relationships across functions and geographies. And because internal communications is about sparking connection rather than simply sharing information, you will have the chance to experiment with new ideas and creative formats that bring our stories to life. If you love crafting compelling narratives and pushing your creativity, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Write, edit, and publish content for our company-wide newsletter, bringing stories to life and keeping every Spotifier in the loop on what’s new, exciting, and upcoming.
  • Collaborate across the communications team to energize bandmates around marketing campaigns, product launches, and key company moments.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal events by coordinating logistics, prepping materials, and helping bring live productions to life for employees around the world.
  • Experiment with new ways to elevate our internal communications, whether through fresh content formats, creative visuals, or interactive moments that make information more engaging and memorable.
  • Track engagement and sentiment across our internal channels and use those insights to help shape what we create next.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of proven experience in internal communications or a related field.
  • You are a self-starter who jumps into challenges, gets energized by solving problems, and is always looking for ways to level up how we communicate.
  • You stay plugged into pop culture, internet trends, and whatever everyone will be talking about next week, and you know how to channel that energy into internal storytelling.
  • You speak human and reject stiff corporate language. You can write in a way that feels fresh, natural, and unmistakably Spotify.
  • You are fluent in using AI tools to draft, edit and experiment. You see AI as a creative collaborator.
  • You build strong relationships and genuinely enjoy working across teams to make great work happen.
  • You bring good judgment, curiosity, and a willingness to jump in wherever the team needs you.
  • You approach internal communications with the same vigor as external communications and you treat employees like super fans and insiders.

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in London, UK.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3 times per week.

What you need to know about the London Tech Scene

London isn't just a hub for established businesses; it's also a nursery for innovation. Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
