Overview
We are looking for a highly capable manager to lead high-impact business and technology transformation engagements across the London Market and wider insurance sector, supporting clients to redesign operating models, optimise processes, and deliver technology-enabled change. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, bringing deep expertise across Delegated Authority, underwriting operations, distribution, and broader insurance transformation initiatives to drive strategic and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Leading projects, workstreams and delivery teams across the full project lifecycle, from strategy and assessment through to  design, implementation and business adoption. 
  • Driving the development of future-state operating models, governance frameworks, business processes and transformation  roadmaps aligned to client objectives and strategic priorities. 
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls, data quality and customer outcomes through technology, automation, AI and innovative ways of working. 
  • Contribute to business development activities, proposition development and thought leadership initiatives that strengthen Synpulse’s market presence and support growth across the insurance sector. 
  • Coach and mentor consultants whilst fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team environment. 

Job requirements
  • Demonstrable experience gained within insurance consulting, London Market insurance, Delegated Authority operations, MGA environments, Lloyd’s syndicates, Insurtech organisations or related transformation environments. 
  • Track record of successfully leading business and technology transformation initiatives, managing stakeholders, delivery teams and workstreams across multiple phases of change. 
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: 
           - Delegated Authority 
           - Coverholder management
           - Binder lifecycle management 
           - Bordereaux oversight 
           - Underwriting operations
           - Operating model transformation 
           - Process excellence 
           - Insurance technology transformation. 
  • Strategic thinking with a pragmatic delivery mindset and ability to move between executive-level discussions and detailed execution. 
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and facilitation skills which will enable you to build trusted client relationships, influence senior stakeholders and drive successful outcomes. 
  • Genuine interest in how emerging technologies, automation, AI and data-driven transformation can reshape     insurance operations and create measurable business value. 
  • Experience delivering business or technology transformation initiatives, with exposure to Delegated Authority and London Market platforms—such as VIPR, Watertrace, Distribind, DCOM, Velonetic, and AdvantageGo, or comparable vendor solutions—is highly desirable.
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent experience.  Advanced qualifications (MBA, MSc, MA or equivalent) and/or relevant professional certifications considered advantageous but not essential.
