What's exciting about the role

As our Manager, HR Technology, you’ll be the architect of our Workday ecosystem, leading a talented team of HRIS specialists and driving strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, elevate employee experiences, and future-proof our HR tech landscape. This role is a mix of hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and forward-thinking strategy - perfect for someone who loves both the big picture and the details.

For this role you can work a hybrid schedule from one of our many corporate locations around the globe (e.g., London, Atlanta, Bangalore, Bucharest).  Candidates may be considered for a fully remote role, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and IT functions.
  • Proactively bring technical capabilities and solutions to business leaders in support of business priorities.
  • Consult with business and functional leaders to improve process automation, end user experience, and self-service capabilities and utilization
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of the Workday platform, including but not limited to HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Talent Management, and Compensation modules.
  • Lead Workday system upgrades, patch testing, and release management.
  • Ensure the integration of Workday with other internal and external systems.
  • Lead HRIS projects from conception through implementation, managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
  • Oversee Workday implementation projects, upgrades, and new module deployments.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR departments to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Manage a team of Workday and HRIS specialists, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Analyze current HR processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation through Workday.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Workday configurations and solutions.
  • Ensure that HR processes comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of HR data within all HR systems.
  • Develop and deliver reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making in HR.

Skills and Experience we desire

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM and other modules, including implementation and system administration.
  • Proven track record in leading HR technology projects
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and data.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Workday certification(s) preferred.
