The job involves managing finance transformation projects, maintaining client relationships, and leading teams in delivering consultancy services for global business transformations.
The European practice for Hackett is well established across Transformation, Benchmarking and Advisory. (Advisory is a multi-year programme-based market offering providing intellectual property and coaching to a wide client base).
We are now strengthening and building our Finance Transformation capability in the UK and across our European practice. Working with C-suite executives and GBS / SSC leadership teams, we design and implement change/ transformation programmes to deliver World-Class performance.
The Hackett Group’s Transformation professionals help leaders rapidly identify and implement proven best practices that result in dramatic improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. We use our extensive understanding of Global Business Services, Shared Services and back office functions including the optimization of Global Business Services strategies, transformation of planning and reporting, order to cash, general accounting processes and re-alignment of organization structures & skills to drive improvements in the Finance Operating model, cost structure and the value provided to the overall enterprise.
Hackett’s unrivalled data and intellectual property allows us to engage clients more objectively than any of our competitors. However, we also need to have the skills and gravitas to support our clients in deploying such solutions on a business led basis.
Consulting Experience:
- Maintaining and growing client relationships through delivery excellence
- Ability to identify and sell on opportunities at existing clients
- Capability to include both written and verbal skills around the design of deliverables / provision of client advice
- Leading project workstream teams from planning through to execution
- Change management experience
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Cross-sector / capability awareness
- UK, International and Global clients
Technical Experience:
- Viewed as knowledgeable in Global Business Services and Shared Services
- Viewed as an experienced in Finance processes i.e., PTP, OTC, RTR and FP&A / with deep knowledge in at least one sub process area
- Working knowledge of HR and IT processes
- Viewed as an experienced in Operating model design and implementation
- Finance systems deployment experience
- Awareness / knowledge of current and emerging market trends
- Good understanding of business transformation and programme management lifecycle
Technology Experience: SAP, Oracle advantageous but not essential
Language Requirements: Fluency in English; German would be advantageous
