The Manager, Field Marketing Strategy works closely with the Director, Field Marketing Strategy, and will contribute to the development of go-to-market (GTM) and marketing strategies, as well as the creation of sales tools and collateral to support business development efforts.  The position plays a key role in the unit to support business strategy to grow new and existing partners, programs, and recruitment efforts.  Understanding industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging needs in the learning and development space will be critical in this Field Marketing role. Manager, Field Marketing Strategy, will track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide regular updates and forecasts to internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded, experienced leader with the ability to lead strategic analyses as well as maximizing Field performance. They will serve as a data analyst, leader, and partner across the organization in a dynamic environment.

Day In a Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Leverage databases (Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Hoovers, and others) to identify prospective customers for outreach. Partner with internal teams to design automated digital marketing outreach to assist in generating opportunities. 
  • Provide performance oversight for partners and programs, ensuring Field Marketing reports are actively monitoring and analyzing lead volume, quality and conversions. As necessary, assisting with analyses; proactively informing Director, channel leaders, and cross-functional leaders of key findings; and strategizing on action items and solutions.
  • Identify new and emerging opportunities as well as potential risks
  • Continuously participate in refining the training program for new and established Field Marketing team, ensuring alignment with Risepoint’s goals and values.
  • Deliver training on sales skills, client relationship management, and account growth using existing content and processes.
  • Provide coaching and development guidance to Directors, offering personalized feedback and action plans for improvement based on analyzed data.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding MBOs and or sales targets and other objective measures of success
  • Demonstrated analytical toolkit
  • Exceptional leadership, management and communication skills.
  • Perform in accordance with Risepoint Policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or analytics roles, with a strong focus on business-to-business and go-to-market strategies.
  • Industry experience in Higher Education and Online Program Management (OPM) sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate exceptional influencing skills, with a track record of working cross-functionally across multiple levels within an organization.
  • A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding Management by Objectives (MBOs), sales targets, and other measurable success criteria.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and methodologies, showcasing a strong analytical skill set.
  • Outstanding leadership, management, and communication abilities, with the ability to inspire and guide teams effectively.
  • Strong understanding of sales concepts and techniques, with a preference for experience in structured sales environments.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
