Core Responsibilities
- Selects and manages new and existing suppliers through competitive solicitation and direct negotiations. Manages vendor/supplier relationships and interfaces with key executives on supplier issues.
- Establishes procedures to accomplish procurement of a variety of materials in a cost-effective manner and ensures results through consistent monitoring of staff, suppliers and procedures.
- Coordinates and reports procurement activities, plans and consults with key representatives across several departments.
- Assesses market conditions that may effect procurements continually.
- Monitors to ensure work performance is to Company's standards.
- Candidates who possess prior expertise in contract, technical, or procurement experience are highly desirable.
- Candidates with extensive abilities in the development of business models, financial analysis, and statistical modeling are highly desirable.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
