This role will lead and scale a team of Business Development Representatives responsible for building and optimizing the top of the sales funnel to fuel revenue growth. The Manager will operate from a data-driven perspective, with a strong command of funnel metrics, pipeline dynamics, and outbound performance drivers.
This individual will excel at building and developing high-performing teams while continuously improving processes to increase efficiency, scalability, and predictability. The BDR Manager will inspire, engage, and hold the outbound team accountable to clear performance standards and measurable outcomes.
Core responsibilities include structured coaching, ongoing skills development, and formalized training programs. The Manager will develop and maintain enablement content, oversee sales engagement strategy and analysis, and leverage call coaching and performance insights to drive continuous improvement. The focus is to maximize BDR productivity, accelerate ramp time, and increase qualified pipeline generation.

Develop and execute the global Business Development strategy aligned to revenue targets.
Plan and forecast ramp-adjusted capacity to ensure pipeline coverage meets sales demand.
Manage BDR rosters and productivity tracking to maintain optimal headcount planning.
Partner with Sales Directors and Marketing to drive enterprise demand generation in priority accounts.
Build scalable processes using automation and lean operational principles.
The Manager owns visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement across core metrics.
The Manager is accountable for structured, consistent development of all reps.
Requirements
1+ years experience leading a high performing team of BDR's
Proven experience in coaching and mentoring BDRs to achieve against monthly & quarterly targets
6+ years outbound BDR/MDR experience with proven track record of success
Enterprise SaaS software knowledge
A strong technical aptitude
Demonstrates leadership skills
Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
Manage a lead to meeting conversion quota on a monthly basis
Manage all activities in a CRM tool
Comfortable with leadership role and being an example to the BDR organization
The ability to articulate your accomplishments and future plans during internal team meetings
