You will be leading the EMEIA Audience Development Team in their daily work to improve and expand our distribution network across Europe, Middle East, Africa and India to maximize the reach of our customer’s press releases. The team is also responsible for PR Newswire for Journalist registrations and account support as well as and Profnet administration.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Leads, coaches and directs a team of 4 in reaching out to media, expanding our network reach and the visibility of our customer’s press releases.
  • Parts of the team is responsible for administration of the services PR Newswire for Journalist Profnet.
  • Makes decisions for hiring, performance management and disciplinary decisions for these roles.
  • Together with the Director set the strategy for the team to reach the goals
  • To take an active part in the daily tasks of the team

  • Key internal relationships:

  • Work closely with our sales, content development, product and global media relations teams.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Media Research/ PR
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the European media landscape and knowledge of practices and requirements
  • Excellent time and people management skills
  • Excellent English written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • Additional languages is a plus
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to self-manage
  • Teamwork
  • You will also take an active part in the team’s daily tasks like
  • Maintain and increase the presence of our news feeds on target media websites
  • Maintain and enhance the media subscription base on our platform PR Newswire for Journalists
  • Manage allocated Twitter accounts
  • Respond to sales queries in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Ensure the quality standards of service are achieved
  • Come up with subjects and recruit people to participate in our podcast Media Coffee

The standard working hours will be 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 7am to 6:30pm on a rota basis excluding one-hour unpaid lunch break per day. A lunch break of 1 hour should be taken between the hours of 12:00 to 14:00.
