We are thrilled to be hiring for a Manager Ad Operations Western Europe to join our new Global Media Activation Team and help us shape the future of digital advertising. As an expert Media Operations Manager, you will play a key role in designing new media processes, deploying new ad tech, supporting our change to a global in-house function, and ensuring high-impact campaigns deliver brand growth and measurable outcomes. Core Responsibilities
  • Global Operations Strategy & Vision – Support the development and delivery of the LEGO Group’s global media operations strategy, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and business priorities. Help drive a data-led, consumer-centric approach that improves media efficiency and effectiveness across markets.
  • Ad Ops stewardship – Be an expert in the global ad operations function, ensuring high quality campaign setup, delivery, and optimization across paid media channels. Define and maintain operational standards, SLAs, and QA processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency collaborating with an external partner.
  • Ad tech & Innovation - Oversee ad tech integrations (e.g., ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, analytics, verification tools). Partnering internally and with the agency technology and data teams to evaluate new tools, workflows, and support automation. Stay ahead of industry shifts (e.g., privacy, identity, AI) to future-proof our media operations.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building – Mentor team members on ways of working and executional excellence. Encouraging collaboration, experimentation, and continuous learning across relevant partners.
  • Partner & Executive Influence - Serve as a trusted advisor on ad ops topics, collaborating with regional and local marketing teams, business units, and external partners to drive alignment and support consistent execution.

The team is at the forefront of shaping how the company connects with kids, parents, and fans through extraordinary digital advertising, and is needed in developing our advertising excellence. It is pivotal in bringing that vision to life, acting as the go-to expert to help build and evolve the Media Operations function to drive smarter, more connected, and more effective media across the world. You will bring a strategic approach, cross-functional leadership, and media expertise to help shape our approach in a fast-evolving digital world.

Supporting our LEGO media and integrating global strategy directly contributes to optimising media spend, enhancing campaign effectiveness, and building robust internal processes that will define our digital effectiveness in the future.

Do you have what it takes?

  • In-depth experience in ad operations, digital media, or programmatic marketing with a strong understanding of ad serving, trafficking, and campaign management across digital platforms.
  • Firsthand experience with major ad tech and data tools (e.g., CM360, DV360, Meta, Amazon Ads, Trade Desk, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
  • Proven track record to lead cross-functional projects, optimize workflows, and drive efficiency.
  • A proactive, solutions approach and a focus on operational excellence.
  • A commitment to purposeful, ethical marketing in line with our values and mission.
  • English language both written and spoken at a professional proficiency level is important.
  • Ability to work 3 days from our office in Copenhagen (2 days working from home)
