Reports into: Head of Group Reporting

Contract Type: Ful time, Permanent (42.5 hours per week)

Broadwick’s Finance team are passionate about accuracy, beautifully presented data and driving insight into company performance. We love spreadsheets and KPI’s however we strive to understand the business further and partner effectively with key stakeholders. This enables everyone to understand the levers that impact the business the most.

We want to deliver best in class reporting and make sure there is enough control so the business can outperform its goals.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a passionate and motivated person to join the Finance team as a Management Accountant under Broadwick Group, our venue Corner Corner, and our Charity Nine Point Eight. 

Our team is responsible for the numbers behind the art. We capture and report all the financial data for the various entities that make up the collective Broadwick Group, which is used to aid the leadership team to make long term strategic decisions about the business.

What you’ll be responsible for: 
  • Finance Administration including processing expenses and maintaining up-to-date company records for the finance team.
  • Preparation of year end accounts and reports.
  • Maintaining and reconciling cashbooks.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and developing relationships with business partners.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Conducting overhead analysis (including prepayments, accruals and variance analysis).
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for the group to be reviewed by each unit.
  • Intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
  • Maintaining fixed asset registers.
  • Maintaining users on ERP system.
  • Maintaining AP document scanning system.
  • Supporting the wider team as required.
  • Preparation and review of central recharges allocated to business units.
  • Business partnering for procurement review across the group.
  • Preparation of reports/data for our Trustees and charity project lead.

  • Carrying out ad hoc duties when required. 
You’ll need to have:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt your messaging for different audiences.
  • An understanding of the structure and purpose of financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow statement).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to support and coordinate multiple projects within the finance team.
  • A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to independently manage tasks and take the lead on briefs when required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing system access, user onboarding/offboarding, and workflow maintenance.
Nice to haves: 
  • Knowledge and passion for the music, events and entertainment industry.
  • Willingness to develop their financial understanding of how a business works.
