ROLE DESCRIPTION 

 

As our Major Account Director, you will be responsible for growing CoStar and LoopNet relationships with our largest UK clients.  

 

You will lead the sales & account management strategy, with the objective of growing CoStar & LoopNet revenue while ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our key clients, nationwide.  

 

Whilst these clients are headquartered in London and have c.60% of their CoStar user base in the capital, they have over 150 sites nationwide and this role will involve regular travel within the UK. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Develop and execute customised account plans to drive revenue growth, increase customer satisfaction and usage of our products within our largest customer accounts. 

  • Build and maintain strong, consultative, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at the C-level and other senior executive levels. 

  • Regularly meet client business line leaders, UK wide, working with them to devise training plans which align with their strategy and leverage adoption of CoStar and LoopNet services.  

  • Conduct regular business reviews, needs assessments, and solution presentations to ensure alignment with customer goals and objectives. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth across CoStar and LoopNet services. 

  • Lead negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial, long term agreements. 

  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution, proactive communication, and regular feedback. 

  • Develop and implement account-specific satisfaction metrics and benchmarks to measure performance. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, research, marketing and our US Major Accounts team, to ensure alignment and effective execution of account strategies. 

  • Provide guidance and support to sales and research teams nationally to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree  

  • External applicants are expected to have the following experience: 

  • Five or more years of sales experience managing the strategy and senior level relationships with key accounts, including at the C-level 

  • Three years’ commercial property industry experience 

  • Internal applicants are expected to have the following experience: 

  • Five or more years of sales experience plus 18 months at a CoStar Sales Executive level or higher meeting and/or exceeding sales targets
