Join Document & Business Solutions, our firm's primary office-based services provider operating globally across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America, and North America in over 50 cities. Document & Business Solutions offers vital services like creative design, document creation, print, copy, mail distribution, and more.
As a Mail and Print Operator within the Document & Business Solutions team in our Milan office, you'll be part of a small and dedicated team delivering mail and creating print and document products. You will provide professional services, supporting clients with print production and document preparation, using the latest digital and technical products in line with global control procedures. This is a part-time job for a fixed-term of 6 months, with a possible extension.

Job responsibilities
- Operates functional equipment; including mail, printing, scanning, inserting, sortation, confidential paper bins and other equipment, as applicable.
- Prints, finishes and distributes submitted requests as well as supports confidential paper bins collections.
- Scans documents/files and integrates into agreed document workflow/depositories.
- Handles receipt and collection of mail and courier items including required manifest(s) and documentation.
- Identifies non-compliant activities, resolves discrepancies and escalates as appropriate.
- Maintains basic record keeping and tracking of data as required by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Intermediate written and spoken English, strong Italian and communication skills
- Working knowledge of print technologies and experience in production environment
- Client focused approach with good customer service skills, attentiveness, able to interact positively and pleasantly.
- Ability to follow directions, show initiative, work and perform duties under minimal supervision, problem-solve and follow through on tasks.
- Able to work flexibly and productively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Detail and deadline oriented with strong emphasis on safeguarding all personal and confidential information.
- Good understanding of risk and control for the activities responsible; knowledge of safe working practices related to Health & Safety.
- Intermediate understanding and use of Microsoft Office products; (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook; including email & calendar).
