Machine Operative

Salary - £15.83ph plus Veolia Benefits  

Hours - 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day from 7am

Daily overtime

Location - Springfield Farm Landfill, Beaconsfield, HP9 1XD

What will you be doing?

• Operative plant equipment, moving and compacting waste 

• Report contamination, non-compliant waste and any service, safety and environmental concerns

• Work as a team, staying in contact with each other and the weighbridge on 2 way radio

• Complete machine hours, defect sheets and other related paperwork to required standards

• Recover stranded vehicles

• Check all vehicles before using them and conduct routine daily/weekly maintenance and cleaning of plant and equipment

• Direct vehicles to tipping location

What are we looking for?

• Similar operational / manual handling experience 

• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety 

• Machine driving experience, specifically large yellow plant e.g. bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks
