We are an active acquirer of DFMs and IFA’s in the UK, following an aggressive growth trajectory, having trebled in size from the initial acquisition of “GPP” under two years ago. Our strategy sees strong organic growth within the near term coupled with significantly larger acquisitions. We currently manage ten entities attracting taxation, mostly UK-orientated with exposure to Jersey and South Africa.


Titan is currently recruiting a role within our central M&A function, the role would report directly into our M&A Director, and would offer the right candidate a breadth of exposure normally not afforded to the role.


You would be expected to have strong excel skills preferably having performed a similar role at a Boutique investment bank, big 4 consultancy firm or in house corporate dev team. You will be involved in the entire M&A life cycle from pitching offers to potential targets, managing 3rd party DD providers, giving comfort to our equity & debt investors, and ensuring the businesses exchange, complete and are integrated within the requisite timelines. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare offer letters based on agreed term sheets for potential targets to review.
  • Prepare weekly investor updates, board packs and investment committee materials.
  • Manage third party due diligence providers reports, challenge red flags and be able to come up with logical mitigants to business issues.
  • Financial modelling, be able to pull together Management accounts P&L, BS and CF with ease and be able to ensure that the Databook is kept organised and is easy to follow.
  • Quickly understand trends, drivers of business performance and potential areas of risk.
  • Be able to review large amounts of Data and information, summarise the key items and report back to the team.
  • Teamwork – we are a small team which rely heavily on internal shared functions, being able to work within a team is essential, as well as perform independently with little assistance .
  • Attention to detail is key in everything we do, and quality of deliverables need to be of the highest quality and ready to share externally at any time.

Job Requirements

  • Preferably ACCA/ACA/CFA/CA
  • Few years post qualified
  • Ex Big 4 Consultancy / Boutique IB/ Corporate development function
  • Strong excel skills, and financial modelling skills
  • 2:1 degree or higher
  • Preferably studied accounting as a major
