About the job:

Are you a commercially minded Finance Business Partner with experience in M&A, Transaction Services or Corporate Finance?

Do you thrive in high-growth, acquisitive, private equity–backed environments where financial modelling, investment appraisal and value creation are central to strategic decision-making?

This is a high-impact Finance Business Partner role supporting the UK M&A team, working across acquisitions, financial due diligence, integration and post-deal performance optimisation. You'll have direct exposure to high-volume M&A activity with an opportunity to influence integration and value creation across a growing portfolio.

About you:

You are analytically strong, commercially curious and confident working with senior stakeholders. You naturally interrogate financial data, ask the right questions and translate insight into clear commercial narratives.

You enjoy operating in fast-paced environments and are comfortable building financial models, assessing risk, and influencing investment decisions. You combine technical accounting strength with strategic thinking and strong communication skills.

Day to day you will:

  • Partner with the M&A and Corporate Development teams to evaluate acquisition targets, providing commercial finance insight and investment appraisal

  • Support financial due diligence, analysing revenue quality, recurring revenue models (SaaS/subscription), cost structures and key value drivers

  • Build and maintain robust financial models, forecasting synergy opportunities and value creation strategies

  • Prepare investment papers and present financial analysis to the Investment Committee, CFO, CEO and senior leadership teams

  • Support post-acquisition integration, performance tracking and ongoing commercial analysis of acquired businesses

  • Contribute to Board-level reporting on acquisition cohort performance and ROI

Your skills and experience might also include:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

  • Experience in M&A, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, FP&A or Commercial Finance within a high-growth or private equity–backed business

  • Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel capability (essential)

  • Experience supporting due diligence, investment cases, valuation analysis and integration

  • Commercially focused with the ability to influence senior non-finance stakeholders

  • Experience in software, SaaS or subscription-based business models desirable
