Job Description

Responsible for supporting and enhancing the delivery of projects from both a Mechanical and Electrical technical perspective. This role reports to a Project Manager or Contracts Manager. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with all project details, designs and specifications across Mechanical & Electrical disciplines.
  • Collate technical submittals as detailed by the Contracts/Project Manager and manage this process.
  • Liaise daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.
  • Manage, review and coordinate drawings as requested, ensuring the latest revisions are being worked to on site.
  • Redline drawings with as-built information and issue to design.
  • Raise and maintain the RFI schedule.
  • Input into weekly progress reports and collaborate with Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Design and QS teams.
  • Ensure all works are carried out and managed in accordance with the King & Moffatt Integrated Management System.
  • Manage site QA/QC procedures, including issuing weekly and monthly QA/QC reports.
  • Monitor Subcontractor compliance with project specifications, building regulations, standards and health & safety requirements.
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist QS in variations, back-up for changes, and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with all site and project requirements, including EHSQ regulations.
  • Manage document control, ensuring all logs and registers are kept up to date.
  • Compile Operation & Maintenance Manuals, commissioning documentation, handover packs and test packs.
  • Maintain the K&M Document Management System.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a relevant Trade background.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the tendering process.
  • Experience in providing technical support to management and site installation teams desirable.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent English.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to different elements of a project.
