Job Description

As a C++ Contractor at [DI], you will focus on developing Front Office Trading software, primarily working within the market data development teams. You will gain exposure to the full software stack, using modern development tools and concepts to deliver high quality, best practice software solutions. This will involve working on the end-to-end development of low latency software components written in C++. Project responsibilities will range from Design, Architecture and Development of greenfield projects to maintenance, latency tuning and enhancements. You will have the opportunity to take the lead on projects, mentor and support junior members of the team, and have a key input in the development of the team moving forwards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience developing low latency trading systems using C++11 or above
  • Experience with order entry protocols and market data
  • Demonstrable experience writing performance sensitive code, multithreaded application development and profiling
  • C++14 is advantageous but not essential 
  • Ability to articulate comprehensive examples of previous experience
