Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, you will manage Salesforce cases efficiently, raise purchase orders, and track the delivery of UK stocks. You will also handle the importation and shipping of fast-moving stock from global suppliers, working closely with sales teams and buyers to forecast purchases using replenishment reports. Coordination with Burlington Arcade to organize stock orders and reconcile inventory will be crucial, as will processing transfer orders within our internal ERP system.

Your role will extend to working with third-party logistics to maintain accurate stock levels across their Warehouse Management System and our internal ERP, ensuring quality control while managing breakages and losses. You’ll also be responsible for arranging the delivery of customer-owned En Primeur stock to bonded warehouses, further enhancing your expertise in international shipping and logistics.

The Ideal Candidate

To thrive in this role, a genuine passion for wine and strong wine knowledge are essential. Experience within the wine and spirits business is highly advantageous, as is a proven track record in stock management and forecasting. Your ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be vital, along with strong IT and data analysis skills, particularly in using a wine industry ERP, Excel, and Power BI.

J&B values attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize under pressure. Your experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment will set you apart as you adapt to the unique challenges of the fine wine market, which is both global and speculative.
