Responsibilities

  • Own the global end-to-end logistics process for highly sensitive and critical technology equipment globally, including freight booking, customs documentation, tracking, and delivery coordination
  • Interpret, apply, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures including compliance with international trade regulations and internal control standards
  • Ensure all shipments are processed efficiently and are accompanied by appropriate documentation for customs clearance, cross-border compliance, and final delivery
  • Coordinate the accurate movement of goods between legal entities, ensuring proper intercompany transfers, depreciation treatment, VAT recovery, and accurate record keeping
  • Identify and drive opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation across logistics workflows
  • Assist the global Procurement team and liaise with internal stakeholders from other teams such as Project Management, DC, Enterprise, and Engineering 
  • Manage return merchandise authorizations, repairs, and replacements with vendors and manufacturers
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and support the analysis of global freight spend and vendor performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, with 3-6 years of relevant experience in global logistics, shipping, supply chain or procurement operations
  • Solid understanding of international shipping, customs documentation, and freight operations (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS, freight forwarders)
  • Proficiency with logistics software, shipment tracking systems, spreadsheets
  • Working knowledge of procurement and workflow systems such as Oracle, Jira, SAP, Gsuite, Microsoft
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly while working with senior-level stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven global environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, recordkeeping, and commitment to data accuracy
  • Strong research and analytical skills to help interpret logistics data and make informed recommendations
  • Experience in a financial services or technology organization is a plus
