The Logistics Assistant is tasked with managing inventory across warehouses in the UK and Europe, processing stock transfers, maintaining stock records in an ERP system, planning transfers, and communicating with transporters. The role involves monthly stock reconciliation, organizing dispatch activities, and assisting in import/export operations.
The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for the supervision of the products and inventory in the warehouses across UK and Europe, as well as assisting the Compliance & Logistics Department.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Movement and managing of Stock from one warehouse to another with UK and EU.
- Creating stock transfer document in ERP system and notifying warehouse.
- Planning the MTS transfer based on the information from the Supply Planner.
- Process transactions within ERP system and maintain up to date.
- Monthly stock reconciliation and creating reports for expiration of shelf-life products.
- Maintain a meticulous organised stock.
- Dealing with road transports with EU.
- Communicate with hauliers to negotiate the transport in most efficient and cost-effective way, and analyse the rates.
- Coordinate and organise dispatches activities from warehouses on time according to the confirmed planning.
- Visits to warehouses.
- Analysing monthly stock reports.
- Yearly stock-take.
- Assisting the import and export from and to warehouses.
- In-house training will be provided for imports / exports and samples shipments.
Skills & Requirements
- Good organise and communication skills.
- An eye to details.
- A valid driving license will be advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Flexible and Fast learner.
- Sense of Priority and working on deadline.
- IT, MS Office package (Excel, Word, Power Point..).
