The Job

We are looking for a Localisation Project Manager superstar to support Flo teams by embedding localisation as part of their internationalisation strategy. 

In this role, you will directly support our Localisation Operations Hubs focused on testing and language quality, while managing a range of localisation projects across different Flo content types from initial planning to testing and release. You will report to the Localisation Operations Lead and will work in close collaboration with the rest of the Localisation team, external vendors and key stakeholders across the business. 

Your Experience

Must have:

  • Notable localisation experience in the online space and with scalable localisation infrastructures;
  • Experience in revamping processes and workflows that allow for continuous localisation and ongoing improvement in agile environments;
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and prioritisation skills;
  • Proactive attitude and a sense of urgency;
  • Solution-driven thinking, acknowledges own mistakes and learns from them;
  • Ability to pivot from low-level detail to high-level view during both strategy execution and problem-solving;
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and contractors;
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Jira;
  • Strong analytical skills and high ability to interpret data;
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and across cultures;
  • Exceptional organisational skills;
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to OKR development and production roadmap planning;
  • Experience with NMT engines and/or LLM models and their training;
  • Ability to anticipate edge cases or potential problems and plan accordingly;
  • Experience in product localisation. 

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Partner with Localisation Project and Program Managers to ensure that operational hub and product localisation-related roadmaps and scheduled releases are adhered to across languages;
  • Manage end-to-end localisation requests from across Flo teams from initial production planning to testing and release;
  • Own the review of source content and liaise with requestors to align on internationalisation best practices and adequacy of translatable content;
  • Take an active part in vendor management to ensure localisation is delivered on time and at the right level of quality;
  • Work closely with Language Leads assigned to monitor and improve language quality to ensure ongoing improvement and root cause analysis and ongoing maintenance of language assets;
  • Monitor, measure and report on operational KPIs, project progress, potential risks and delays to localisation requestors and key stakeholders;
  • Drive process improvement related to localisation production for operational efficiency and scalability;
  • Document processes related to day-to-day localisation production and maintain them up to date.

You'll be targeted on:

Targets for the localization team are dependent on the initiatives developed in the roadmap and those relevant to the operational hubs at the time. However, all new starts are assessed on their ability to perform all project management processes proactively and independently, as well as their collaboration with other localisation team members and their communication and organisational skills.

Salary Range - per year

£57,000£69,000 GBP
