By making events easier to manage and measure, we help create better experiences for customers and employees, at a lower cost. Our solution turns events into meaningful connections that drive results for HR, L&D and sales & marketing.

 

This position is the ideal role for freelancers experienced in virtual events or AV who are committed to push digitalization and engagement to the next level. Passionate about this industry, you will work with a variety of clients to become a subject matter expert of SpotMe/Onomi solutions for live broadcasts. You will take ownership of running live streams for our clients. You will appreciate operating at a fast pace on multiple types of projects. Customer oriented and with a strong attention to detail this role will make you part of our international growing team. 

 

As a Live Stream Producer, you will be reporting to the Operations Lead and you will: 

  • Support SpotMe/Onomi virtual events: Be the main point of contact for the client during live sessions, running live streams and speaker/client/technical escalations. (60%)
  • Configure broadcast studios with assets provided by our Project Managers/customers (background, holding images, VTs), using the SpotMe Studio streaming tool, or connect it to our CMS, Backstage, using RTMPs. (15%)
  • Run rehearsals: welcome and brief speakers, review the Run of Show, transition layouts, testing slides and live assets. (20%)
  • Trim video recordings when necessary. (5%)

In terms of technologies, we use SpotMe Studio by default. OBS with Zoom capture when needed. And StreamYard.

 

Objectives - The problems you will solve

In your first month, you will onboard, get hands-on with our product and solutions, become familiar with our SOPs and get introduced to our team:

  • Learn Backstage by getting certified with our SpotMe Academy, and by embedding yourself in building platforms with your line Manager
  • Get trained on how we deliver virtual SpotMe/Onomi and experience it by shadowing colleagues.
  • Master our Live Stream Production SOPs, systems and resources.
  • Participate in virtual live events.

After 1 month, you will be assigned to your first projects onsite or virtual with the support of a project manager and your line manager. 

Within 12 months, you will have executed numerous events virtually with SpotMe/Onomi. Depending on performance and feedback, discussions can initiate for Associate Project Management training, where you can lead projects end-to-end with clients.

Requirements:

  • Clean basic background check.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Fluent in English and at least one of the following languages (French, German).
  • Registered as a sole trader, self-employed, or owner and employee of your company, in Europe
  • At least 1 year of experience with live production (digital event production such as webcasting/webinars, live stream production, and AV setups).
  • Have a professional computer configuration, at minimum for PC (or equivalent for Mac):
    • Intel Core i7-9700+
    • 16GB+ DDR4
    • Non-integrated graphic cards (2GB+ dedicated graphics memory)
    • 256GB+ SSD hard drive
    • 2 monitors.
  • Have the following internet connection:
    • Wired Internet, with a bandwidth of at least 20Mbps down, 10Mbps up
    • A 4/5G connection (through mobile is OK) to fall over if the wired connection is not working
