About the team and the role:

eBay Live is a dynamic and interactive way to sell on eBay, where sellers and buyers connect live via video. This innovative platform allows sellers to build trust with buyers, expand their reach, and grow repeat business through engaging live streams. Buyers can view, chat, ask questions, give feedback, vote, and make purchases in real-time during these live sessions.

We seek a Project Manager to promote operational excellence and facilitate scalable growth for the eBay Live program in the UK. This role is essential in managing program governance, enhancing workflows, and ensuring coordination across various functions to maintain flawless operations within the UK eBay Live team. The Live Project Manager will be central to developing frameworks, tools, and reporting systems that reinforce eBay Live's operational backbone in the UK.

What You Will Accomplish:Program Operations & Governance
  • Support the complete delivery of operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with eBay Live’s strategic roadmap.

  • Manage and lead strategic projects such as Peak Planning.

  • Establish PMO frameworks including documentation standards, achievement tracking, and reporting mechanisms to monitor project health and impact.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Legal, Analytics, and Marketing to ensure consistent program execution and compliance.

  • Develop dashboards and benchmarks to track operational performance and find opportunities for continuous improvement.

Process Optimisation & Automation
  • Build and implement scalable processes to streamline operations across teams.

  • Evaluate automation opportunities to reduce manual workload and increase data accuracy in program tracking and communications.

  • Ensure effective issue resolution workflows and timely updates to internal partners.

Risk, Trust & Safety Operations
  • Partner with PMO leadership and cross-functional collaborators to ensure live stream trust and safety policies are operationalised effectively.

  • Support investigations into reported incidents, ensuring processes adhere to compliance and platform standards.

  • Monitor emerging risks and propose mitigation strategies within the PMO’s governance framework.

What you will bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, operations, or PMO roles — preferably within e-commerce, marketplaces, or live commerce environments.

  • Demonstrated capability to develop scalable processes, frameworks, and reporting systems.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and align cross-functional teams.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities.

  • High level of empathy and operational focus within the field.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
