We're looking for a technical expert for one of the largest compute services at Citadel; if you possess that rare mix of depth in Operations, Networking, and Systems Engineering then we are waiting for your application.

  • Developing tooling to automate tasks and implement/scale/test infrastructure services.
  • Building and maintaining systems following infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Investigating system variances about to affect major services worldwide and solving them proactively before impacting customers.
  • Diving deep into system and service interdependencies and configurations to find the root of a problem.
  • Studying and learning from industry-recognized principal and distinguished engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with architecture, implementation and operation of a Linux-based compute environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Linux Environments (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu).
  • Automation of build, test, and release of Linux images.
  • Deep experience in performing system performance analysis and tuning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong development experience in Python or Go.
  • Experience developing APIs.
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning/management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Terraform Packer).
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Routing, VPN).
  • Experience in use of virtualization/VMWare for compute infrastructure.

In accordance with applicable law, the base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $300,000.
In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive compensation program,
as well as a wide array of benefit programs, such as medical and life insurance, retirement and tax-free savings plans,
and access to other healthcare programs.
