Position overview
As a Legal Graduate, you’ll kickstart your legal career at the intersection of crypto, banking, and fintech. This is a unique opportunity to learn from experienced legal professionals and gain hands-on exposure to regulatory, commercial, and operational legal work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
You will support the Legal team across a range of matters, including legal research, document preparation, contract review, and day-to-day legal operations. Your contributions will help ensure that Xapo remains compliant, forward-thinking, and member-centric.
Responsibilities
- Support senior members of the Legal team on legal research, drafting, and documentation.
- Assist in reviewing commercial contracts, terms of service, and internal policies.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to fintech, crypto, and banking.
- Help assess client-facing communications for legal accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and organize legal databases and records.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Risk, Compliance, and Operations
Skills needed
- Recent graduate with a Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- Strong enthusiasm for financial services, crypto, fintech, and technology law.
- Solid legal research and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to work effectively in a remote-first, digital environment.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn from a global, diverse legal team.
- Internship or work experience in a legal, regulatory, or financial environment is a bonus
- Understanding of key legal concepts related to fintech, payments, or blockchain is a nice to have.

Xapo Device Policy
Consultants joining Xapo Bank must comply with the Xapo Device Policy, which governs the use of corporate-approved laptops under Corporate-Owned, Personally Purchased Device (reimbursed up to $1,500) or Corporate-Owned, Personally Enabled Device (personal device with enforced security controls).
All devices must meet security requirements, enroll in Xapo’s Mobile Device Management (MDM), and adhere to compliance rules. COPPD devices remain Xapo property with buyback options upon exit. COPED users agree to data control measures, including mandatory corporate data wipes.
Compliance with the Xapo Device Policy is mandatory for all consultants, onboarding will not proceed without adherence to the policy.
