About the Role

We are seeking a Legal Editor, AI Content Updating to support the development and ongoing maintenance of high‑quality legal content across digital and print platforms. This role focuses on collaboration, editorial judgment, and the thoughtful use of AI tools to help ensure legal content remains accurate, current, and useful for users.

You will work with legal experts and internal stakeholders to commission, edit, and update content efficiently and at scale. The role suits someone who enjoys working with evolving technology, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to inclusive, forward‑looking approaches to legal publishing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage legal content portfolios across digital and print formats, supporting quality, consistency, and timely updates.

  • Work with external authors, supporting clear communication around expectations, schedules, and quality standards, and encouraging effective use of AI‑supported drafting and review tools.

  • Monitor legal developments (including legislation, regulation, and case law) to help prioritise content updates using AI‑enabled research and tracking tools.

  • Provide editorial review and guidance to ensure legal content is accurate, clear, and accessible to its intended audience.

  • Contribute subject‑matter insight to the testing and improvement of AI tools used for commissioning, research, and content updating.

  • Use AI tools as part of everyday workflows, applying editorial judgment to review and refine outputs before publication.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in legal content development, editing, publishing, or a related professional field.

  • Legal training or equivalent practical experience is valued, but we welcome candidates with diverse career paths and transferable skills.

  • Confidence working with AI‑enabled tools and an interest in learning and improving AI‑supported workflows.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with a range of contributors.
