  • Provide full legal support to Elekta’s legal entities in REU, including employment and real estate matters (with external counsel where needed)

  • Support corporate governance and internal governance requirements, including signatory rights management

  • Conduct legal risk assessments and provide clear, actionable recommendations

  • Apply Elekta’s Contracting Excellence process consistently

  • Provide initial support on Compliance, IP, and Regulatory matters, liaising with specialist teams as required

  • Instruct and manage external counsel, ensuring compliance with internal fee and approval processes

  • Support other areas of the business as agreed with the Regional General Counsel to help manage capacity across the team

What we’re looking for

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Graduate of an English law school with strong academic credentials

  • Qualified lawyer and member in good standing of a local bar (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 2 years’ full-time practice as a licensed attorney, including in-house legal experience

  • Excellent English (written and verbal); additional European languages are an advantage

Skills and competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across functions and seniority levels

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, training, and presentation skills

  • Sound ethical judgment and a strong sense of ownership and accountability

What we offer
  • A truly international in-house legal role supporting a purpose-driven medtech business

  • Exposure to complex, cross-border legal work across Region Europe

  • A collaborative, supportive legal team with strong professional standards
