  • Organising and maintaining the  team’s knowledge base across the team’s functions including precedents and templates.

  • Managing vendor invoices, including assisting with new vendor set-up in the legal tracker system and routing invoices to appropriate cost centres.

  • Preparing legal documents for signature and the coordination of signatures (e.g. immigration petitions, deal memos etc).

  • Supporting the MInD team with legal research regarding immigration and child labour requirements globally.

  • Preliminary review of background checks and psychological evaluations for show participants and crew.

  • Leveraging new technology, including artificial intelligence, to optimize the team’s organization and performance.

  • Maintaining flexibility and openness to take on additional projects as necessary or assigned.

To be successful:
  • 3 + years work experience, preferably (but not essential) in a legal field (especially those with a focus in immigration and/or entertainment) or at a studio, network, broadcaster or production company.

  • You are a team player with excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

  • You are resourceful and proactive with a can-do attitude and continually strive for organizational efficiency through innovation.

  • You respond positively to change and are respectful of new ideas.

  • You have a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems.

  • You pay strong attention to detail and work well with changing information.

  • Your communication is effective and concise, supported by strong interpersonal skills.

  • You exercise great judgement and can articulate sound reasoning for your decisions.
