Techary redefines the way customers procure, implement, and support their organisations' technology, providing an innovative alternative to the traditional Managed Service Provider (MSP) / Value-Added Reseller (VAR) approach.

Our concept, “Technology, done differently”, embodies our belief that the way our customers consume and utilize technology should innovate at the same pace as the technology itself.

Our customers range from small start-ups to global enterprises. From designing, deploying and managing infrastructure stacks within low-latency financial trading environments, to relocating the headquarters of a global fintech firm, our operations span multiple markets, industries and geographies.

Techary have helped customers scale their operations globally, gain an advantage in financial markets, enabled mission-critical projects and, most importantly, implemented technology that delivers alpha-accelerating business transformation.

 The Role

Techary is a hyper-growth Value Added Reseller (VAR) and Managed Service Provider (MSP), partnering with leading technology vendors to deliver enterprise solutions and managed services across the UK.

We are now building our legal function for the first time — and this role sits at the heart of that. As our first Legal & Contracts Specialist, you’ll take ownership from day one, working directly with the Exec team to shape how legal operates across the business.

You’ll be supported by trusted third-party specialists, while acting as the central internal stakeholder responsible for coordinating activity across all parties. This is a high-impact role with real visibility, where your work directly enables commercial growth and protects the business.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and redline a broad range of commercial agreements — NDAs, MSAs, SoWs, reseller agreements, supplier contracts, and partner programme agreements
  • Own the full contract lifecycle: repository management, obligation tracking, renewals, and expiry monitoring
  • Support onboarding of new technology vendors and channel partners, ensuring agreements are accurate, negotiated, and executed
  • Manage external counsel relationships — coordinate instructions, control spend, and ensure timely turnaround
  • Lead on data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR, DPAs, and subject access requests
  • Draft and maintain a library of standard contract templates and legal playbooks
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal legal queries across sales, procurement, finance, and operations
  • Maintain a live legal risk register and dispute tracker for Exec review
  • Support corporate governance, including board resolutions and Companies House filings where required

Essential Skills
  • Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification (LPC, CILEX, or paralegal diploma)
  • 2–4 years’ experience in a paralegal or legal coordinator role within a commercial environment
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial contracts, with the ability to draft, review, and redline independently
  • Solid understanding of GDPR and UK data protection law
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to advise non-legal stakeholders in plain English Proactive and self-sufficient, comfortable building processes from scratch

Benefits

At Techary, we embrace a family culture and believe in working as a team to overcome any challenge we face.

Employee benefits include:

  • 25 days leave per annum
  • Birthday as an additional day's leave
  • Support for Professional Training (Microsoft, Cisco etc)
  • Private Medical Insurance, including gym discounts, dentist and optical cashback schemes
  • Free breakfast, snacks and drinks
  • Lunch provided Friday
