Role Summary:

We are expanding our legal team are are looking for a Legal Contract Manager who will be responsible for proactively managing and supporting sales inquiries and negotiation of customer and vendor contracts. This role requires full contract administration responsibilities, including drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts.

This is a hybrid position in our London, UK office (1 day a week in office).

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts to ensure contractual relationships with clients and vendors align with Patsnap’s business goals and risk tolerance guidelines.
  • Proactively support a growing sales team in all contract-related issues, including negotiating contract terms, assessing and managing risks, and advising on commercial special terms when needed
  • Provide support to and collaborate with other functions such as HR, Finance, and Revenue Operations when needed, in reviewing contractual terms with other third parties, such as vendors and employees
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers and vendors alike, ensuring that compliance is achieved, and consistency of contractual obligations is met
  • Accountable for meeting business targets and timelines, by proactively driving contracts and files to completion
  • Manage overlapping and coinciding deadlines in high volume and high pace environment
  • Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of contractual terms
  • Develop and monitor compliance protocols for company-wide policies, playbooks, and related matters
  • Retain strong legal, regulatory, and compliance knowledge by interacting with and seeking guidance from the Senior Legal Contract Manager, in order to keep your knowledge up to date
  • Identify and lead process improvements, develop tools to streamline and increase efficiency, and take on projects to add value to the department and the organization

About You:

  • 3 or more years of contract management experience along with privacy law compliance within the software and technology industry as well as vendor contracts
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Word, and Excel, Salesforce, SharePoint and DocuSign
  • Attention to detail, highly motivated, proactive, reliable and intellectual independence are paramount to achieve success in this position
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of diverse individuals, as well as with a legal team that is dispersed geographically
  • ⁠Ability to lead large-scale projects with a strong work ethic, excellent communication, legal research, and organizational skills, while adapting effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
