You'll work closely with legal, sales, procurement and operational teams, helping ensure contracts progress efficiently while protecting the business from legal and commercial risk.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial contract experience, particularly NDAs, who wants to broaden their in-house legal exposure and develop valuable commercial legal skills.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reviewing, drafting and coordinating a range of commercial agreements including NDAs, customer contracts and supplier agreements
  • Supporting contract negotiations and facilitating efficient contract turnaround
  • Managing contract approvals, execution processes and legal workflows
  • Maintaining contract management systems, legal records and document repositories
  • Acting as a first point of contact for routine legal and contractual queries
  • Supporting sales, procurement and commercial teams with contractual requirements
  • Conducting legal research and preparing reports, presentations and supporting documentation
  • Assisting with compliance, governance and risk management activities
  • Liaising with stakeholders, customers, suppliers and external legal advisers where required
  • Supporting improvements to legal processes, templates, playbooks and self-service resources

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Experience reviewing, administering or managing commercial contracts
  • Strong experience working with NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements)
  • Understanding of commercial contracting principles and contract lifecycle management
  • Ability to identify potential contractual risks and escalate appropriately
  • Strong written communication and document drafting skills
  • Legal research and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Desirable

  • Experience working within an in-house legal team
  • Exposure to technology, software, cloud, cyber security, telecommunications or managed services sectors
  • Experience supporting MSAs, SaaS agreements and software licensing contracts
  • Familiarity with public sector frameworks and procurement processes
  • Experience using contract management and e-signature platforms such as DocuSign, Adobe Sign or Ironclad
  • Law degree, GDL, CILEX qualification or equivalent legal training
  • Understanding of UK GDPR and commercial compliance requirements

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Broad exposure to commercial legal matters across a growing technology business
  • Opportunity to work on customer, supplier, SaaS and NDA agreements
  • Close collaboration with senior legal professionals and business stakeholders
  • Exposure to the technology, cloud, cyber security and managed services sectors
  • Opportunity to develop commercial awareness and contract negotiation skills
  • Involvement in legal operations, governance and process improvement initiatives
  • Excellent platform for career development within an in-house legal environment
