Learning and Development Programme Associate (12 month Maternity Cover)

About the team

Our People Team’s focus is on growing our business and our people, and this role will sit within the DoorDash International Talent Development team - reporting to the Learning & Development Director for Deliveroo. As a Talent Development team we drive company-wide growth and performance by helping people thrive and do their best work. We’re a nimble, high-impact team whose work connects, develops, and inspires people to go further than they thought possible.

About the role

As Learning & Development Programme Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering a seamless, high-quality learning experience across DoorDash International (Deliveroo and Wolt). This is not a pure coordination role. You will take end-to-end ownership of the operational delivery of our L&D programmes, ensuring every initiative runs smoothly, looks polished, and delivers impact at scale. With our scope expanding internationally, this role requires someone who thrives in complexity, spots details others miss, and proactively improves how things are done. You will act as a central partner to stakeholders across multiple markets, becoming a trusted operator who ensures our learning initiatives are well-executed, well-communicated, and continuously evolving.

What you’ll be doing:

Programme Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of L&D programmes and workshops across Deliveroo and Wolt, ensuring seamless planning, high-quality execution and strong participant engagement

  • Manage all logistics, communications and tracking, maintaining consistently high standards and proactively resolving issues before they escalate

  • Identify opportunities to improve programme processes, scalability and overall learner experience

Learning Systems & Onboarding Experience

  • Take full day-to-day ownership of RooLearn (our LMS), ensuring a smooth user experience, accurate administration and reliable reporting

  • Continuously enhance our LMS processes, engagement and data integrity, partnering on system improvements where required

  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver a high-quality onboarding experience across markets, including owning the first-day experience at Deliveroo London HQ

Stakeholder Partnership & International Collaboration

  • Build strong, trusted relationships across Deliveroo and Wolt, confidently operating across markets and navigating complexity

  • Collaborate with Talent Development partners to scale and evolve our international L&D offering

  • Support the creation of practical toolkits and written resources that enable managers and teams to succeed

Insight, Governance & Brand

  • Analyse feedback and programme data to generate insights and drive continuous improvement

  • Elevate the quality and polish of learning materials and communications, ensuring a professional and engaging brand experience

  • Manage external providers and financial processes, including purchase orders and invoices, ensuring strong governance and accountability

What we are looking for:

You’ll likely bring 3-5+ years of experience within, or closely with, a central Learning & Development or Talent Development team, supporting company-wide programmes in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation. This may include experience as an L&D Coordinator or Associate, Talent Development Specialist or Learning Operations Partner within a core corporate L&D function, where you’ve owned end-to-end programme delivery and partnered with stakeholders across multiple business areas.

  • You take ownership & accountability, proactively driving tasks forward and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks

  • You have a bias for action, anticipating challenges and solving problems effectively

  • You are well organised and detail-focused

  • You are collaborative and able to build trusted relationships quickly

  • You always raise the bar, ensuring you leave things better than you found them
