About Faculty

At Faculty, we transform organisational performance through safe, impactful and human-centric AI.

With more than a decade of experience, we provide over 350 global customers with software, bespoke AI consultancy, and Fellows from our award winning Fellowship programme.

Our expert team brings together leaders from across government, academia and global tech giants to solve the biggest challenges in applied AI.

Should you join us, you’ll have the chance to work with, and learn from, some of the brilliant minds who are bringing Frontier AI to the frontlines of the world.

About Frontier

Frontier is Faculty’s AI as a service product - an AI-powered simulation technology which improves the speed, quality and execution of decisions across enterprise. Using a computational twin framework, it goes beyond business intelligence and data science to connect AI models and siloed data from across organisations, and enable decision intelligence on a new scale.

In line with our conviction that AI should be human-led, Frontier enables the best combination of human and machine intelligence by making AI models interactive so business users can test future scenarios, understand impact, and make optimal decisions.

About the role

This is an influential and client-facing position at the intersection of sales and a new class of technology. It requires an individual who thrives on distilling clarity from abstract problems, is tenacious in the face of complexity, and wants to design large, holistic solutions to real-world problems with the support of exceptional technologists and delivery teams.

As a Lead Solutions engineer your role will be to understand customer needs and how they map on to the feature set of our Frontier product. You will be responsible for discovering client needs, designing technical solutions which address these, and supporting the sales/delivery teams with compelling and well-scoped proposals. You’ll lead on communicating these solutions to the customer through presentations and demos, and will gather customer feedback to influence future proposals and product roadmaps. At a Lead level, we will look to you to feed into our wider technology strategy, designing solutions for scalability that go beyond specific point-problems.

What you’ll be doing

  • Helping drive ARR in new logos by the effective demonstration of Frontier and the articulation of benefits to technical and non-technical customers

  • Leading on technical solution design and scoping

  • Owning the development and maintenance of a suite of product demos and solution templates

  • Providing senior technical relationship management/ customer success through delivery of PoVs and deployments.

  • Developing trusted advisor status with customers on how to get value out of their data and AI through Frontier

  • Ensuring successful technical handover to Frontier Delivery / Enablement teams

  • Maintaining senior technical relationships with customer and partner teams

What we will look for

  • Expertise in understanding customer challenges, breaking them down into clear technical requirements and articulating bespoke solutions

  • Experience delivering technical product demonstrations, bringing the capabilities to life through storytelling, and acting as the SME bridge between sales and the capabilities of the product

  • Accustomed to leading technical discussions with senior and exec-level customers

  • Expertise in technical solution scoping, sourcing input from across internal Product and Delivery teams as required

  • Ability to design solutions for safety, scalability and speed to value.

  • Experienced in ensuring technical solution quality and providing technical support / success management

  • Foundation as a data scientist, software engineer or solutions engineer with significant experience designing and deploying AI systems

  • Engaging, crisp, presentation and demonstration style

  • Life Sciences/CPG industry experience would be beneficial, but is not essential

What we can offer you:

The Faculty team is diverse and distinctive, and we all come from different personal, professional and organisational backgrounds. We all have one thing in common: we are driven by a deep intellectual curiosity that powers us forward each day.

Faculty is the professional challenge of a lifetime. You’ll be surrounded by an impressive group of brilliant minds working to achieve our collective goals.
Our consultants, product developers, business development specialists, operations professionals and more all bring something unique to Faculty, and you’ll learn something new from everyone you meet.
