Team mission

We're looking for an outstanding Lead Product Manager to join GetYourGuide's Paid Search team. In this role, you'll drive the vision, strategy, and growth of the products that power one of our largest customer acquisition channels.

Paid Search at GetYourGuide sits at the intersection of back-end automation and data products. The tech powering the channel is no longer just a set of back-end systems — it's increasingly a portfolio of data products (signals, feeds, bidding inputs, attribution) consumed by our Marketing team and by adjacent Growth surfaces. Your job is to shape that portfolio: set the strategy, define the roadmap, and partner with engineering to ship it.

You'll work closely with the Paid Search Tech engineering team, the Growth Data Product team, and the Paid Search Marketing team, who are both your closest partners and your primary internal customers. If you want to shape the future of paid customer acquisition with us, read on.

Your mission
  • Ownership: You are skilled at laying out your team's strategy, setting goals, and following through — owning the outcomes of your team's work end to end.
  • Ambiguity: You can create meaning and value from ambiguity, and you're comfortable operating in a space where the "product" is often a system, a signal, or a model rather than a UI.
  • Data product thinking: You treat internal capabilities — bidding inputs, feeds, signals, attribution — as products with consumers, contracts, and a roadmap, not as back-end plumbing. You define what "good" looks like for the teams that depend on them.
  • Communication: You demonstrate a clear and structured approach to communicating; able to connect your team's strategy to the company's mission and break it down into clear next steps for engineers, marketers, and leadership alike.
  • Prioritisation: You use your data skills and customer empathy to weigh competing initiatives, make clear decisions on priorities, and continually re-evaluate your roadmap based on what you learn.
  • Collaboration: You build trust across a demanding set of stakeholders — the Paid Search Tech engineering team, the Growth Data Product team, and the Paid Search Marketing team — keeping them aligned on a shared roadmap and clear expectations.
  • Experimentation: You use experimentation to evaluate your team's investments, leveraging your data skills to interpret results and decide what to do next.
Your toolkit
  • 7+ years of professional experience in product management.
  • Demonstrated experience building data products or ML-adjacent products — for example, feature stores, signal pipelines, ML platforms, bidding, pricing, ranking, or attribution systems. You can reason about model-driven products, feedback loops, and guardrails.
  • Demonstrated ownership over a product in a previous role, including responsibilities for strategy, KPI setup, goal-setting, and roadmap.
  • Strong data analytics skills, with the ability to derive insights from large datasets.
  • Experience with experimentation as a core decision-making tool.
  • Experience working with large Paid Search setups is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization is a plus.
  • Experience working on a SaaS product, a marketplace, or in the travel industry is a plus.
How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary
  • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development
  • Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year
  • A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time.
  • Opportunities to collaborate and socialize with team members through quarterly team events and yearly company-wide events
  • Monthly transportation and fitness budget
  • Discounts for you, your friends, and family on GetYourGuide activities
  • Language reimbursement program
  • Health and wellness benefits

And more…
