About the role
As a Lead Process Engineer at io, you will take ownership of the process engineering scope within multi-disciplinary studies. You will guide and influence project direction, ensure high technical standards, and mentor junior engineers to help develop the next generation of talent. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on shaping future energy and infrastructure solutions.

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project drivers and provide clear, actionable recommendations

About you

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10–15 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong background in conceptual and early-phase studies

  • Opportunity to be part of a team that is redefining what consulting and development look like in a rapidly changing energy landscape
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid working environment, with three days a week in our beautiful Central London offices, plus the option to work a 9-day fortnight on an ad-hoc basis
