Role overview:

The Lead Insights Analyst oversees a global team of data insights analysts to drive data-driven strategy for a key client's real estate portfolio, serving as the central subject matter expert in advanced analytics and machine learning.

This role combines strategic leadership with deep data analytics techniques to deliver comprehensive portfolio insights that inform critical business decisions. The position requires strong analytical competencies to mentor team members, establish data analysis standards and best practices, and translate complex business requirements into effective data strategies and analytical solutions. A background in data engineering is highly valuable to help design proper data architecture for complex analytical solutions and guide the development of internal analytics infrastructure that enhances future analysis capabilities and data governance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Global Data Analytics Team - Lead global, multi-time-zone team of data analysts, establishing analytical standards and best practices (including data architecture guidance for scalable solutions) while providing continuous guidance and capability building for advanced analytics delivery. Ensuring the team has the right tools / data flows / setup to deliver at scale

• Real Estate Portfolio Knowledge- Serve as SME for Real Estate Portfolio strategy, directly inform strategy development and business decisions, leveraging best practice from across the business

• Stakeholder Engagement - Effectively engage and support both technical and non-technical stakeholders across diverse cultures to drive analytics adoption and strategic alignment. Working with the client on idea generation and solutioning to become a true strategic parter. Transform analytical outputs and data insights into clear, actionable Go/No-Go recommendations.

• Technical Requirements Translation - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and produce high-impact visualizations and reporting at scale for stakeholder engagement

• Advanced Analytics & Data Science - Identify data opportunities for new strategies leveraging advanced modelling and data optimization methods providing proactive leading insights for the client.

• Internal Analytics Infrastructure - Responsible for designing and building internal data analytics infrastructure optimised to support the team's data needs and rapid insight generation.

• Quality Assurance and data integrity – Maintain high data quality standards and integrity processes. Ensure internal processes are current and followed through regular quality checks and review procedures

Technical / Soft Skills:

• Global Team Leadership - Effectively lead global, multi-time-zone teams delivering analytics solutions that consistently exceed client expectations. Ensuring the team has the right tools and processes to deliver at scale

• Management & Problem-Solving – Formulate targeted analytical strategies by defining key metrics and clearly articulating their strategic value to client objectives. Navigate uncertainty while juggling multiple priorities with strong end-to-end problem-solving.

• Advanced Programming & Data Science - Proficient in SQL, and Python or R with machine learning principles, model development, and validation capabilities

• Advanced Analytics & Data Science - Proficiency in data analytics techniques, statistical analysis, data science methods including machine learning, and optimization approaches for portfolio strategy development and business decision support

• Business Decision Intelligence - Transform analytical outputs and data insights into clear, actionable Go/No-Go recommendations by evaluating findings against practical business constraints and real-world implementation considerations.

Experience:

• Advanced Degree & Analytics Foundation - Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline

• 7+ Years Business & Data Analysis - Minimum 7 years professional experience in business and data analysis with focus on advanced analytics and modelling

• 3+ Years People Management - Proven experience managing teams, particularly in global, multi-time-zone environments delivering analytics solutions

• Real Estate/Consulting Background - Experience in Real Estate and/or Management Consulting is significant advantage for portfolio planning context

• Complex Analytics Project Delivery - Proven track record delivering complex data science and analytics projects on time, within budget and scope
