And revolutionizing ecommerce is only half of the equation—we’re also transforming the way we work. At Bolt, we have created a work environment where people learn to drive impact, take risks and make big bets, and grow from feedback, all while feeling welcomed and accepted for who they are. Come join us on the adventure today!

Your role at Bolt:

We are looking for a Lead Marketing Specialist to join our team and drive strategic marketing initiatives across PR, communications, partnerships, and GTM efforts. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling and strategy, requiring someone who can craft compelling messaging, manage high-impact campaigns, and build strong external relationships that amplify our brand and product presence.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy and positioning of integrated Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for product launches (B2B and B2C), business milestones, campaigns, and  insights to advance Bolt’s influence in ecommerce and retail.
  • Write and manage press releases, media pitches, and other public-facing communication assets.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans across owned, paid, and earned channels driving mutual value for Bolt and merchant partners across Email, Social, Blog, and Web.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, industry influencers, and PR agencies to increase brand visibility.
  • Manage media and creative agency partners’ project scope and timelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PR/Comms, product, account management, and the executive leadership team to ensure consistency and brand alignment across messaging.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Measure and report on internal and partner-facing reports to track campaign performance, media coverage, and partner activations to optimize and scale campaigns
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to continuously refine messaging and positioning.

What would set you up for success:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Marketing in the B2B tech sector, specifically in communications, public relations, or partnership marketing roles - Fintech or E-Commerce experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in writing compelling press releases and external communications that deliver impact.
  • Experience managing GTM strategy and executing cross-functional 360 marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the ecommerce/fintech landscape and what resonates with merchants and partners – the ability to marry the goals and objectives of two brands to drive mutual growth.
  • Strong network or experience working with media outlets, press contacts, and/or agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to tone, clarity, and audience.
  • Comfortable operating at highly strategic and tactical levels, switching between them effortlessly
  • Balance of creativity and analysis – the ability to turn data & insights into action and creative problem-solving
  • Collaborative mindset with experience managing or aligning cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus - you are a self-starter with the ability to navigate through ambiguous situations

Estimated cash compensation for this role is $125,000-$140,000 USD, plus equity depending on experience.

Benefits:

  • Remote-first workplace
  • Time away: Flexible PTO, paid holidays + floating holidays, your birthday off!
  • Paid parental leave
  • Competitive Pay
  • Retirement plans
