We make health happen
At Bupa, our purpose is simple: helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. We’re a health insurer and provider with no shareholders, so our customers are always our focus.
This role is key to that mission. As Lead IT Product Manager, you’ll make sure the technology behind our Group Finance function runs smoothly and evolves to meet future needs. You’ll lead on critical platforms like Oracle for planning and forecasting, Tagetik for consolidation and regulatory reporting, and Workiva for annual reporting. These systems keep our business strong and compliant – and you’ll be at the heart of making that happen.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle for one or more Group Finance technology solutions, from strategy through to delivery.
- Partner with senior Finance stakeholders to understand priorities and shape solutions that meet business goals.
- Manage demand across “run” and “change” activities, ensuring platforms remain stable while driving improvements.
- Oversee integrations and governance for enterprise systems, working closely with engineering teams.
- Lead projects such as enhancements to Oracle and Tagetik, data integration for Workiva, and the rollout of a global tax solution.
- Champion the move to a product operating model, embedding best practice and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in product management or programme leadership within technology.
- Knowledge of Finance systems and processes – ideally with exposure to platforms like Oracle, Tagetik, or Workiva.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at senior levels.
- A track record of delivering complex technology initiatives in a regulated environment.
- Comfortable managing integrations and working with engineering teams.
- Clear communicator who can simplify technical detail and keep everyone aligned.
Benefits
Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people. Viva is our global wellbeing programme and includes all aspects of health – from mental and physical, to financial, social and environmental wellbeing. We support flexible working and have a range of family-friendly benefits.
Joining Bupa in this role you will receive the following benefits and more:
- 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell
- Enhanced pension and life insurance
- Private medical insurance
- Access to our health and wellbeing services
- Discounts on Bupa products and services
